Such a cute corner hangout. First timer here.. Ordered food to go on a quick day Trip to LA and it was outstanding! The menu seemed quite basic with a lot of items out of stock so I was nervous that I would be disappointed with , but was definitely put in check! I ordered the avocado toast and it was so delish for beingn so simple. Since leaving LA I have actually been craving it.. it had the perfect avo consistency and a little crunch with the almonds and a little acid.. perfect bite everytime. The iced green tea was a perfect cold quench.. super tasty. I also got a raspberry pistachio croissant, but I think I realize that I'm a more simple pastry gal.. wasn't a huge fan of the pistachio mixture and texture, but I'm excited to come back and try the others! Definitely looking forward to my next visit

Love that you can hang out in this cafe and not feel like you have to rush. High ceilings with skylights that keep the place bright. Staff are great. Shoutout to Maggie and Nate. The hubby and I get our usual Mocha, Americano and Everything bagel. They can add more to the delish vegan options. It's our 5 day a week habit.

Cute interior! This is a great workspace/brunch spot for anyone! Incredibly spacious with many options for food, but they were out of a lot of items by the time we came on a Monday afternoon. I got the avocado toast and it was so delicious!

Good drinks. Good setting. A stuffed penguin. The only thing this place needs is a pour over or drip coffee option.

The best things we ordered were the carrot cake and the vanilla latte. Pros The vanilla latte was sweet and flavorful, I really enjoyed the vanilla flavoring! The carrot cake was delicious, it was moist and had a pleasant surprise taste of coffee cream in the middle layer. The cream cheese frosting was not too strong with cream cheese flavor, and paired well with the rest of the cake. We enjoyed the carrot cake very very much. Cons My friends were not really a fan of what they had ordered; the lox on the sesame bagel was a little too toasted, hard to chew/cut, and had an interesting texture. Both the turkey sandwich and the lox bagel were just OK. My friend was also not really a fan of the olive oil cake. I liked it, but I would not reach for it. Lastly, despite the deliciousness of the carrot cake, it was expensive, $24 for a cake that could serve 3-4 people. Love love love the dining space, there are so many chairs and tables to choose from. There are many people who come here to study, read, work, or hang out for hours. The vibes are always relaxed, chill, and great for working or studying. I love the high ceilings, as well as the decorations and layout of the space; it is tastefully laid out so that there is a lot to look at and admire. Sightglass Coffee also has a little marketplace in the front of the house. They laid out a nice spread of salads, side dishes, snacks, flowers, merchandise, and a bunch of other neat Knick Knacks. Parking is street parking, watch out for signs. Workers are nice and accommodating, they will bring you anything you need before you even know you need it. There's also outdoor seating, which has a nice little backyard house vibe to it.

TLDR: Parking aplenty (yes, in LA!), tasty latte, rustic but dreamy ambiance, free wifi, and spacious! Only con is little access to power outlets, so make sure to plan accordingly. - - - - - - Sightglass is located in an area with an abundance of parking either via residential or parking structures. The residential limit is 1-2 hours on Mon-Fri, but thankfully no restrictions during business hours on weekends. Upon walking inside, I felt like I was walking into an open market, but I really enjoyed the large setup. You're greeted by a row of well-arranged flowers, and the cerulean walls create for a calming ambiance. Service was relatively quick (5-10 minutes) from order to sit-down. Their normal latte was incredibly impressive - and gone within minutes. It boasted of a smooth, subtly bold texture with no hints of bitterness or sourness. Seating is also plentiful and wifi free, but access to power outlets is scant. If you plan to stay for a while, make sure to plan accordingly! There were also a variety of items including what seemed like gourmet snacks, unique wines, a selection of charcuterie ingredients, and shelves of other products - perfect for a light meetup or a large group get-together. Sightglass is a coffee shop that I"m glad to have discovered, and I will be adding it to my regular rotation. :)

I visited on a Friday morning and was captivated by the overall aesthetic of the place! I arrived around 10:40 AM and found myself 10th in line. There was an extensive array of sweet treats, baked goods, breakfast, brunch options, and drinks to choose from. Opting for a latte with oat milk, I found it delicious! Despite the moderately busy line, the service was quick. The atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends, studying/working, people-watching, or simply enjoying your own company. Note: Parking can be challenging. Consider using metered street parking or a $10 all-day parking lot, and be sure to pay attention to the signage Definitely visiting again when I'm back in the area!

Multiple people recommended this place to me, so I finally went to try it. It's a pretty large coffee shop with plenty of tables, a communal table, and a wide selection of pastries. The staff was very friendly. I tried an iced americano. It was super smooth and I could taste some light fruity notes and chocolate.
